The Rt. Rev'd Michael P. Milliken, Bishop

On February 19, 2011, Bp. Milliken was consecrated as the 5th Diocesan Bishop of Western Kansas. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky in 1970 and a M.Div. degree from the Episcopal Theological Seminary in Kentucky, in 1973. He also holds a M.A degree in theology from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he was a lecturer in theology from 1992-1993. Bp. Milliken will continue to serve both as Bishop and Rector of Grace Church, Hutchinson after his consecration on February 21, 2011

The Rev'd Larry A. Carver, Vicar

Fr. Carver is a 1972 graduate of Virginia Theological Seminary, Alexandria, VA, where he received a M.Div. degree. He was ordained deacon on June 28, 1972, and priest on March 10, 1973. He served churches in the Diocese of Michigan prior to coming to Kansas where he has been Vicar of Christ Church since 1995. In 2007 he received a M.S. degree in Instructional Design & Technology from Emporia State University and has completed graduate work in Economics at Michigan State University. He is retired from Hutchinson Community College, but still teaches online for Fort Hays State University. Fr. Carver and Joyce live in Hutchinson, KS and share this ministry to Christ Church.
