Images of Christ Church

Christ Church, which has stood for years, is the oldest church building in Kingman, Kansas. It has been a place of great joy in baptisms and weddings and of sorrow during funerals. It has served as the worship space for the congregation for years--served during times by clergy and lay readers. Here are some pictures of the church.

This is the view of Christ Church from the back entrance looking toward the altar. This is an eastward view. In 1996 the beams of the church were renewed giving more support to the roof.
This view is from the altar looking back to the west side of the church. Recently the back wall plaster was repaired and the whole church was painted.
The front of the church shows the simplicity of the architecture used when the church was built. The church has been sided with vinyl and given more insulation.
This side view of the church shows the sacristy which in on the north end of the building. In the background you can see the parish hall.
