Welcome to the Christ Church (Episcopal) website

The Rev'd Larry A. Carver has retired as Vicar of Christ Church. We are currently looking for a new Vicar.

Christ Church has served the community of Kingman, Kansas since 1897. We are a small congregation that is a mission of the Diocese of Western Kansas. Throughout our history we have been at times a large congregation and at times a small congregation but at all times we have been a faithful congregation.

Our Minister

Christ Church is currently without a minister. Services are being done by our Lay Readers doing Morning Prayer and Supply Clergy celebrating Holy Communion.

You are invited to join us on Sunday mornings at 10 AM if you do not have a church home. You'll find the members are friendly and the coffee hour after our service is a great for us to know each other better.

We support the Kingman Area Ministries, Inc., and have financially supported victims of tornados, floods, and hunger. We live out the Gospel of love and compassion not only with our lips but with our lives.

Our Worship

The central act of worship for us is the celebration of Holy Eucharist, or Communion. As members of the Episcopal Church we use the Book of Common Prayer. More information on our style of worship can be found under the Worship link above.

Services can be found by calling our Sr. Warden, Gayle Dye, at (620) 532-3333
