Christ Church has served the community of Kingman, Kansas since 1897. We are a small congregation that is a mission of the Diocese of Western Kansas. Throughout our history we have been at times a large congregation and at times a small congregation but at all times we have been a faithful congregation.
Our Minister
The Rev'd Larry A. Carver has been the Vicar of Christ Church since November 1, 1995. He and his wife Joyce provide support, prayers and assistance to our members and the community. Fr. Carver is the retired Director of Virtual Learning & Instructional Technology at Hutchinson Community College, Hutchinson, Kansas, and now teaches online for Fort Hays State University.
You are invited to join us on Sunday mornings at 10 AM if you do not have a church home. You'll find the members are friendly and the coffee hour after our service is a great for us to know each other better.
We support the Kingman Area Ministries, Inc., and have financially supported victims of tornados, floods, and hunger. We live out the Gospel of love and compassion not only with our lips but with our lives.

Our Worship
The central act of worship for us is the celebration of Holy Eucharist, or Communion. As members of the Episcopal Church we use the Book of Common Prayer. More information on our style of worship can be found under the Worship link above.
